Senior Girls Dorm. Dorm Tutor – Mrs. Emma Starling Assistant Dorm Tutor – Mrs. Karen Mutuku, Mrs. Carolyn Jones Matron – Rachel Wairimu
The Senior Girls Dorm is also a modern single storey building adjacent to the Junior Girls Dorm, however the routine here encourages the girls to become more independent and responsible. The Dorm has two wings with 8 four person bedrooms in each wing and bathrooms.
Year 9 and 10 girls share three or four students to a room in one wing and the Year 11 students are mostly two to a room on the other wing. The girls have access to a spacious common room with table tennis, Satellite DSTV, a DVD player and DVD library. The Dorm is also equipped with two kitchen areas with water dispensers, sandwich makers, oven, cooker and fridge. There is also a relaxing grassed courtyard area. The Dorm is decorated in vibrant colours and the walls are adorned with modern art and framed photographs. The students are cared for by a resident Dorm Tutor and Matron as well as two additional Assistant Dorm Tutors. The Dorm is a studious but friendly environment where students are encouraged to foster positive and respectful relations both with each other and the Dorm Tutors and Matron. Some of the older students are appointed as Prefects to help with the smooth running of the Dorm, and they also have a duty once a week in the Year 7 and 8 Dorm helping to supervise Prep. Students are encouraged to discuss issues with the Dorm Tutor who regularly monitors their pastoral and academic progress.
