Greensteds Junior School is able to provide support for students with a range of special educational needs. We are aware of the difficulties some students face in their learning and we have a patient,understanding and proactive attitude towards helping them progress as learners.

Our SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) works alongside our assistant teacher, Mr. Gilbert, to provide knowledgeable support backed up with appropriate resources.  A student’s individual timetable is often adjusted to make room for extra small group support with Mr. Gilbert.   Through a lot of hard work many of our students with special educational needs make significant progress and adopt a more positive attitude towards both their learning and school life than when they first join us.
