Mr. Nick Martyn

Hamjambo Greensteds. I was born and raised in London, UK. I qualified with BSc. (hons) Physics (Sussex University) and PGCE Physics (Bristol University) after which I promptly headed for Kenya. Over the last 20 years I’ve taught in a mix of Kenyan state, church and private schools, most recently Brookhouse School, Nairobi. I love teaching Physics as a creative, almost philosophical, subject in which problem solving, abstract thought and application are highly rewarded. 

I believe that quality education in a fast evolving world must develop the whole character. To this end I am involved in a range of diverse activities such as President’s Award expeditions, the Ten to Four cycle race, Hog Charge, Rhino Charge and our unique 110km running relay called 'Run a Ton' all of which provide exceptional opportunities to develop leadership, environmental awareness, adventure and service.
